It’s spring in Korea and its time to have some Fun! HERA has announced a new collaboration with Paris based boutique dessert shop HUGO & VICTOR. The HERA x VICTOR HUGO “Like It” collection comprises of a cushion, a lipstick in 3 shades and an eyeshadow palette. This collab is an interesting one, I mean, how does a beauty brand find inspiration from a dessert shop? Let’s take a look at the products.

HERA MYSTIC PLANET | UV MIST CUSHION

₩47,000 – The Mystic Planet is a repackaged version of the popular HERA UV MIST CUSHION with SPF 50 PA+++ in a planet themed case with a ring around it. Beyond the truly adorable casing, the HERA UV MIST CUSHION is an amazing cushion for a near flawless plump skin with a nice dewy glow finish.

TIP (for right makeup look)
Create a flawless skin using MAGIC STARTER NO.2 LAVENDER and UV MIST CUSHION NO.21, apply COTTON CANDY in the Limited Edition EYESHADOW PALETTE over the eyelids and add ALICE BLUE on the crease. Give a light sweep of CHERRY BLOSSOM along the lower lash line and put PEARL POWDER SHADOW SILVER to add an accent. The lips in ROUGE HOLIC NO.102 PINK MACARON always look sweet.

HERA GLAM BOMB | ROUGE HOLIC LIPSTICK

₩35,000 – Next up we have the HERA ROUGE HOLIC (cream texture) dressed in a cherry and red lip motif white and pink casing. We have 3 new limited shades – pink, orange and cherry joining the original 31 color rouge holic line up.

Use MAGIC STARTER NO.1 and UV MIST CUSHION COVER NO.21 for bright, clear complexion, put PEONY CORAL in the Limited Edition EYESHADOW PALETTE over the eyelids and add depth tot the eyes by applying ROSE BUD at the triangle zone at the inner corner of the upper lash line. Apply CHERRY BLOSSOM at the center of the eyelids and lower lash line and highlight the innermost corner of the eyes using PEARL POWDER SHADOW CHAMPAGNE. Fill in the lips with ROUGE HOLIC NO.133 CHERRY LOLLIPOP for lovely look.

HERA WHIMSICAL HARMONY | EYESHADOW PALETTE

₩75,000 – Last in Hugo & Victor collaboration is the the Whimsical Harmory Eyeshadow Palette. The palette is rainbow themed, think rainbow tiered sponge cake, with pastel shades designed to let you make your eye makeup look like a delicious cake. Colors in the palette include – COTTON CANDY, PEACH CREAM, PALE MINT and SPRING BASIL. Sounds yummy and totally in line with spring.

TIP (for right makeup look)
Use MAGIC STARTER NO.3 MINT and UV MIST CUSHION NO.21 to create a hydrated smooth skin and spread PALE MINT in the Limited Edition EYESHADOW PALETTE over the eyelids. Draw lines along the eyes and lower lash line using EYE DESIGNER PENCIL NO.1 and add a hint of SPRING BASIL to the lower line. Put PEACH CREAM to the center of the eyelids for a glossy accent. Apply ROUGE HOLIC NO.270 ORANGE PUDDING.
